I've got you covered. Below I share answers to frequently asked questions about the behind-the-scenes logistics of my practice to help you decide if I'm the best therapist for you. If you have a question that isn't answered below, feel free to reach out for a virtual consultation. I'll be happy to provide any additional information you need to feel confident about your decision.
Yes!
Therapy is $200 per 45-minute session.
Let me know if you’d like to use your insurance to help cover the costs of therapy. We can chat about how to check your out-of-network mental health benefits and how to get money back for therapy sessions. I work with Thrizer to make this as easy as possible for you.
If you are uninsured or underinsured, you may qualify for my reduced rate ($70/session) through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective. Click here to check my current availability for this reduced rate.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of therapy over time.
My secure client portal accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, FSA cards, and HSA cards.
In your first session, we'll have a conversation about your goal(s) for therapy. We'll get really specific about how we'll measure the change you're hoping for. This will help us stay focused and accountable during our work together. We'll check in regularly to make sure you're making progress and make any adjustments as needed.
Therapy lasts for as long as it’s helpful for you — whether that’s a few sessions, a few months, or a few years. The exact timeline depends on your specific goals, your unique situation, and how much you’re able to practice new strategies between sessions. If you know that you'd like to work within a specific timeframe, we can tailor your treatment plan accordingly.
